Thomas Bay Hotel for my honeymoon June 2010 - hope we made the right choice!

Hi there everyone!
My mother-in-law (to be) has kindly offered to babysit for 10 days and let me choose a holiday for myself and my hubby to be which she would help pay for.
I chose the Thomas Bay Hotel in San Stefanos - I can't say why - I just kept returning to it whenever I looked at holidays.
Most reviews seem excellent - I am very down-to-earth and would definately want to go somewhere with a friendly, chatty atmosphere. I always hate sitting across from the same guests for a whole stay and not socialising. It seems rude to me. Thats just me though.:)
We are hoping to make the most of this holiday and I am soooo excited. Ive spoken to Sally who works for a local day trip company and she seems really nice.
I'm wondering if anyone on this site will be there when we are - it would be nice to know someone to speak to in the bar etc :) I am a backing singer by trade and so the karaokes sound like fun if there are enough people up for it! Lol.

You could not choose any where  better than San Stef for your honeymoon/holiday! I don't know about the Thomas Bay as I have never stayed there (much prefer self catering.... so many wonderful places to eat!!!!) but the reports are good and so many others on this site will be able to give you details. Th ewhole resort is amazingly friendly and you will have no trouble finding like minded individuals to chat to/mix with. Do ask on here if you have any queries about the place. Lots of us have been returning for many years and know the place better than we know our own towns! If you have spoken to Sally from San Stef travel you will already have the feel of the place.

When do you go Sian....... I am sure folk off here if there at the same time will arrange to meet up with you! The Thomas Bay is a great choice to stay at. We stopped there probably a dozen times before moving to self catering but still end up in there most nights.
