When you went to the Bella Vista, you will notice another Cafe' to the right.
Try it next time, we always did the Bella Vista as we know the people there,
but the other establishment is very nice, has a pool as well and the food is great.
Same views, more room and a nice shop as well.

we did the paxos / antipaxos trip on our honeymoon via noula at san stef travel, it was a nice day out.
when we were there thompsons had a new trip on we had not done before it was expensive but it did make our trip extra special  ;D
a trip around the north of corfu on a sea plane with absolutely stunning views.
I can also recommend the island tour (we did that one the 1st time we went to corfu) it was a very long day, if i remember rightly it started off traveling down the east coast past the durrell white house, breakfast at a place overlooking the runway at corfu town watching the planes landing ect, then a tour around the kumquat distillery with samples provided, on to paleo for lunch with a boat trip around the bays and caves then up to the monastery (no shorts for ladies wraparound skirts provided if needed) then up to the bella vista for refreshments.
I hope you both have a fab time, congratulations and  good luck to you both.

You can always do your own Island trip, hire a car, drive along the mountain roads and do the wonderful view over Paeleo your self,
that way there is no time restriction or rush. Loads of monastery time and you can drive up the hill to it.
I would do the boat trip(s) and then have a car for 3 days.
The trick to driving in Corfu, is to have a map - and look-up & drive Village to Village on the map - you won't get lost then,
and you quickly get used to the Corfu Roads.
