After watching todays horror show against Japan what price would be available on us winning the Championship let alone the world cup?
I agree,in fact I switched it off and watched us finish 1st & 2nd in the Grand Prix. Not bad for a couple of southerners.

Sorry Yannis - I have to decline your offer of full Scottish Nationality!
Don however - is a very confused soul and tries to keep his options open - but he's quite a nice chap anyway!!

I have therefore escaped the Tartan Hordes - by doing what they all do, move to England in the back of a lorry and work in the Labour Party or the Police!!
(Just Joking - would never work for Labour!! - yuk!).
No - I am 1/4 Scottish - 1/2 Cornish - 1/8 Yorkshireman - 1/8 Londoner and was born in Singapore!!
My Fathers Brother emigrated to Australia aged 16 and I now have 27 close relatives in Sydney and surrounds, so I am a bit of an Aussie'ophile as well as an SS'ophile!!
Bit of a Mongrel - but all the better for it - and I live in -- - and support England first and foremost!!
I am also able to put behind me and move on from the wars of the roses, and those against what is now Wales, Scotland and Ireland (N & S).
Now I realise some people are stuck in a time warp - but not me!!
Funny thing is - I kind of always support the "Home Nations teams" when they play others, but they never support the English!! Funny bitter old world!!
Still I am above that (most of the time - anyway)!! LOL

I support any of the 4 British home international teams when they play other nations

I know Scotland or Wales don't support England against other teams in general, but Northern Ireland fans seem to

I don't support any country. Just can't get any emotional connection with international football. Probably because I'm 50% belonging to my parents countries of birth!
Did find Greece were brilliant 6 years ago! The atmosphere the night of the final was incredible! I only watched that because everyone in the Thomas bay wore Greek t-shirts that night. Probably won't watch a match in the world cup! Never bothered even when my cousin played in the French finals!

I thought it was an incredibly subtle performance. It takes a lot of training for some of the world's (allegedly) finest players to come on and run around like headless chickens to such an extent that they depress the opposition into committing harakiri. Joe Cole nearly spoiled it by revealing a secret talent for football. Roonie's passing was abysmal.

It can't be any worse on the 12th. Oh no, don't say that...

Jim - trouble is - you never know if it's Sandra or Don on Sandra's log-in!! (He's a bit of a cross-typer)!! LOL
Some of Sandra's entries are a touch "Don-esque" - either that or she really is cruel!!  ;D 8) ::) ;D :D

I've just remembered we'll be in SS at the SAME TIME!

It's suddenly dawned on me the Sandra is probably one of the loveliest, kindest, and most beautiful women I'll ever meet.

Don forces me to type things. If you could see what happened to our would be burglar this morning you'ld know why I do what I'm told. I think Don's taking up baseball as he bought equipment in DW Sports.
