I have been hearing reports that the weather has been bad in corfu this season  , have any of you guys been there or are there and is this true?

Reading what various posters have put the weather has been a little bit mixed.

According to wife and daughter, it was windy today but they still got a tan...Raining in Leeds tho

A work colleague of mine has just returned from Crete and he said that the weather was iffy even that far south. Wind and thick cloud on 3 out of 7 days

One of my work colleagues left Teresa's on Monday after her first visit. Says the weather was iffy (wet & windy) for a couple of days then improved over the fortnight.
She says she will go again but not may. She was worried what the kids, 22 & 19, would think as SS is quiet- They love it. She is vegetarian and found the food brilliant throughout the resort eating twice at Paradise and Little Prince and 10 different places. Her husband enjoyed his first visit that much he wants to return in September. ....... Sound familiar?

i.all just return from two week holiday in the terresa the weather for the past fourteen days was a mixture of very cloudy in the morning and clearing by lunch time to very hot sunshine ,but the nights were very cold  you still need a top coat to go out in the evening ,resort was not very busy the only place busy was the thomas bay every night ,meet zoe and roy in the resort ,the rate we got has risen to 1.17 to the pound ,prices on par of last year no cash machines working in san stef or arillas ony at avoites ,new restaurant opening on the top of san stef near the gravia bar and a small shed and i mean shed next to the little church on top dead cheap does coffee and beer ,and a loverly view of the sea and san stef with chairs  and one sun bed ,must be seen well worth the walk to it over all a good holiday and we are returning in sep for hopefully a month  at the quitetude apt .hope every one going next week a happy holiday .yammas mike .

We seem to be having some strange world weather last few years with Corfu losing it's Guaranteed sunshine status!
I was starting to get concerned - but lets hope it's a glitch!
Any updates on the beach Gordon?

Weather was really settled all last week and hitting forecast temps of around thirty by Wed/Thurs. Mike at the Little Prince was saying  temp could hit 40 by early next week!!! Tony I've posted a note about the beach under the golden beach heading.
