« on: May 31, 2010, 11:25:03 AM »
hey all

we are flying out for another holiday in san stef on the 7th of June, one week today :) we are staying at the thomas bay for the first time, previously we stayed at the stamatis.  have heard good things about thomas bay

we are wondering what the prices are like this year for eating out and drinks? has it chnaged much with the euro being rubbish and the greek economy issues?

would appreciate any comments

Hi Penny and Claire
Welcome to the forums. From looking at other forums and topics on here prices have risen slightly but not as bad as we thought it was going to be. Having said that the Greeks are having a rise in VAT soon so prices will rise then. Take a look at what others have put and you will find that the prices are not to bad.
Have a great holiday in our favourite holiday place. :)

There are quite a few examples of Prices in various posts around this site.
€2.50 for a pint of beer for example, €9 for a set course meal in the evening.
The Prices don't really seemed to have changed from last year, bit dearer in Supermarkets,
Small rise in VAT charge from July I believe.

We are also staying in the T/Bay Hotel yet again - very good there, H/Board and the meals are nice -
they usually will offer an alternative off the menu if the set meals do not inspire you on a particular evening.
The Cash Machine is currently broken.
Have a great holiday!!
