cigarette prices, duty free/plane/shops?

hi,
a friend has asked me to bring back 400 cigarettes.
where will be the cheapest place to buy them please? and what do they cost?

will it be cheaper in san stef local shops, the duty free shop coming home, or on the plane.

No difference on ciggies.

We were out in June and price of 200 in SS shops was 38euros for Marlboro Gold (lights); same price at airport.

As for booze, like Smirnoff vodka - not worth it anymore from Greece - in SS shops a 1L of Smirnoff Vodka was 18 euros - in airport about 15. get it just as cheap at home these days on supermarket offer periods.

Shame really, because when we're in Spain or Portugal we can still pick up a 1L Smirnoff for about 11 euros and a Bacardi for about 12.

Depends what you want. Greek fags are blissfully cheap at from 21.90 to 25.50 for 200. International are at about 38 to 45.

Get them in the paper shop!

I don't think they sell ciggies or booze on the plane for EURO destinations, (May be wrong but pretty sure),
you can get them Tax paid in World duty free and in airports coming back, you can buy 3200 - cheapest place is Gibralter.
Corfu airport was only slightly cheaper on return compared to the shops.

It's far better to buy them in the village. Prices are standardised, so you don't need to shop around. We'll be bringing several thousand back!
