Hi Waspman
I have just read your brilliant Trip Advisor review on San Stefanos and the Romanza. This explains the 3 jars of qumquat jam.I recommend anyone who wants to know more about San Stefanos and the Romanza to read it.Of course it is even more biased than my reviews. That fact does not make it any less true.It covers all aspects including the Romanza breakfast and even gives me a mention. My only concern is in these days of economic uncertainty. How safe is my job with the Romanza PR Dept.I do not think the budget could support two of us.

Sorry Yannis - I disagree about the 'inclusive' breakfast .. it is not good, as could be seen by
the amount of hard boiled eggs/'scrambled' egg/ham and rock hard toast that is left on peoples plates.

Yes the options that can be paid for are fine, but when the package says B&B - people don't expect to pay for a 'decent' option, the one given is very poor and needs to improve!

There were many many complaints re the standard of the breakfast .. that Gerry from Liverpool being the most vociferous

Ps: ... I didn't get any jars of honey included  :o - does that only come after your 5th visit  ;)

the breakfast at the terrasa in my opinion is one of the best ,for breakfast you get a choice of two eggs ,two sausages or bacon and to eggs or greek yoghurt tea or coffee a big cup toast , butter ,jam .if you prefer a full english b/f it was this year two euro,s extra with orange juice  and hot and fresh cant fault it good value .bit better than the romanza i think ,im sure the people that has stayed there this season will agree with me .[i hope l.o.l]  yammas mike .      ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

Waspman:

Strange Mikee, when I was there (at the same time as you and Yiannis) I only saw leftovers on yours and Gerry’s plates.  And as I remember Gerry didn’t get much support in “his special breakfast campaign”

When you’re on the continent, expect a continental breakfast, if you get more than that (i.e. at The Teresa), it’s a bonus.

As for the jars of jam, it doesn’t depend on your number of visits, it depends on your likeability factor, hence I got three.
