SS is changing
« on: August 22, 2010, 05:19:46 AM »
Has anyone noticed, after recent visits to SS, the change there?  There were lots of different nationalities.  Noula from SS travel told us that Thomson now pick up from Scandinavia, so more Swedes, Danish, Dutch etc. Also we met Ukranians, Italians, lots more Greeks, Romanians etc.  On quite a few days we parked ourselves at the nudist end of the sunbeds and we seemed to be the only English until you touched the beds outside the Athina.  Really quite liked the new cosmopolitan feel to the place - more interesting.

I noticed many more Scandinavians in Arillas this year, and the odd Eastern European

Over the years we have seen many changes in the Nationalities going there.
Once before, Swedish, German, Italian and English filled the beach, but it has changed so much over the years.
Good to see different people as well!
Happy Days in Agios Stefanos, Avliotes, Corfu!! TonyCo1
