Booked for 2011

Just booked our next two weeks(4th time) in our own version of Paradise. Flying out a week later on Friday 3rd June. Little Prince booked again through Thomsons but going from Edinburgh this time rather than Glasgow. Flight is 06:00 out getting in to Corfu 11:35, back from Corfu 12:35. Airport is only 20 mins from home, we'll save on petrol, parking and overnight stay in Glasgow. Flight in previous years has been 06:40.

Thomsons brochure says flight is by Monarch but came up as British European when booked. Don' know them but hopefully all will be well.

Edinburgh is v. cold today with snow forecast so booking has lifted our spirits a bit. Already looking forward to seeing friends in the village and of course the odd Mythos or two

We'll have to give it a miss in 2011. We've got to go to Cyprus for our nephews wedding for two weeks so that means we wont have enough hols left for San Stefanos!! I'll be booking straight away though for 2012 when we get back from Cyprus!!

Hey Gordonc, we go out on the 6.00 from Edi on 15 July. Not sure what the carrier will be either but given I'll be bleary eyed at that time on the morning I'll be happy if it says 'Corfu' at the front of the plane.

Lofty, I agree with you, as long as the pilot can find Corfu, I'll be happy. The outside toilet might be a bit draughty though!

Made the decision - all the family going - in-laws as well - 10 of us - some first-timers, July29th should be the date - waiting for confirmation from all,

The Athina is a great place to stay so no worries there, we stayed there once before.
We may book to go there as well this year, as all the family are going this time.
Half Board is a good option for families, and you can still go out for the odd meal when you want.
My 'Adult-Kids' have trouble planning their money when eating out and always run short - so like I said a good option.

Hi again - well we took the plunge and booked - (Sorry Don / Sandra / Zoe / Roy / Jules / Roy / Pam / everyone else we usually see!).

Sorry because we cannot do this one out of school holidays - therefore we won't see you I am afraid - & to see you guys again would have been great.
Why - well I asked that as well - so expensive in school holidays, but as we are taking Mark and Rita plus the Grandchildren (Kyles now at school) - it's a big family thing.
Rita's Mum & Dad and her 3 sisters look like coming as well - they think?? - they are deciding this week, luckily still plenty of rooms left.

Where? - - Athina Hotel as Mark Rita and the kids need Half-Board so they can budget correctly.
We will arrive on Fri 29th July for 2 weeks, arriving in the evening.

So if anyone else is there then - see you in the Summer!!
We are going to miss the Thomas Bay this time - but difficult if you have children with you.
