The New Fantasea Restaurant and upgraded San Stefanos Hotel 2011

I have been in Touch with Kostas, son of Nikos Golden Beach Hotel.
They have done a re-vamp with Kostas now leading the business and have up-graded and re-named the Restaurant "Fantasea"
After some quiet years by the Fedre Mare and close to the Church in the more Chilled end of San Stefanos,
Kostas has up-graded and his Italian styled eaterie, specialising in Corfiot , Greek and Italian dishes, with some International dishes as well.

I can tell you having eaten there last season, it is the hidden gem in San Stefanos and worth a visit, also having an outstanding viewpoint over the bay and beach,
great place for the sunsets as well.
The Hotel has Wifi and lots of hi tech offerings including laptop loan - it's now worth a big consideration, especially for a meal.

Couldn't agree more Tony.  After many years not eating there because, although the views were great, Nikos just didn't have the front of house presence, we went there last year and the food was excellent.  Kostas is obviously pulling the place up by the bootstrings and it is worth a visit.

They have also revamped their accommodation behind the church.  Had a look last year and was very impressed.  If the Fedra Mare is booked and you dont mind not having a pool then, with similar prices, it is worth looking at.

Kostas is in the process of making his website now - I have offered to help him with the English and I have just been editing the rext for the site.
He then sent me all his Menu's to edit - so I'm going to be busy!!

Yes - his Apartments are good- we first stayed in those Apartments in 1983 - big upgrade recently since then - they are plush now!!

The food there is really good and Kostas make all the difference - great service these days and far more lively!

I will publish the website address as soon as he goes live with it!
