Ryan Air Flights To Greece
« on: January 29, 2011, 06:07:50 PM »
Just seen on Travel Mole that Ryan Air will start their first route to Greece from Stanstead from April into Thessaloniki.  This is great news, could this be one of many routes they will consider for Greece in the future?  Will we see some competition on prices should they expand to other Greek destinations?  Even if they are for the time being only flying to Thessaloniki this means with the new roadlinks on the mainland all the way down to the port of Igoumenitsa, many combinations are open for customers to discover mainland Greece and a pop over to Corfu as well.

Actually there are some good prices in April and May, and although not my favourite airline competition is always good for keeping the prices within reach of many people who perhaps might not consider flights to Greece otherwise.  SKG is the airport code for Thessaloniki.
