Early News from Agios Stefanos

Our friends Alan and Carole are roaming the streets of AS (SS), and have texted me a few reports over three days.
Alan say's things are behind schedule in the resort, no one is doing Sunbeds on the Beach yet, not for another week!
Waves and Mango are putting out beds - for their customers only, so buy lunch at Waves and you can get Sunbeds!!
He says the beach is in a state still, lots of seaweed etc.

It seems they have done away with the pool bar at the Athina, and Nandi (daughter from 2 stars), is serving the pool via a walkie-talkie,
with food served under canopies by the restaurant, maybe this will change later as it gets busy!

Dimitri, (Elpitha & Nondas Apt's) is running the Little Princes Bar, Glass shop, has moved into the old Magnet Bar, San Stefanos Travel moved by Margarita's Apartments, as previously told.

Olive Press not open yet, and they went to see Lady GaGa in the Condor last night!! That's it so far!!

Must admit we went into the Athina pool bar one day after the beach......the only grumpy, off hand service I got in our whole two weeks in San Stef!!

Things seem to have slowed in San Stef as far as building etc. The new rooms behind the little prince have only been rendered, most bars opened and serving, The glass shop was quite busy last week when we popped in. the usual Lady GaGa and Debbie Harry sound alikes at the Condor. Sun beds free for first part of June due to licencing (rumoured) but not too many out.
Olive Press still not open.
Resort on a whole was quiet. See how much it changes when back in August
