I did steal some time and went over to shoot a couple of pictures.



It was just soooo nice to see all these people dancing together.. all with the same pride.

That looks great Dimitri. Hope they do it again when we're there.

It brings back memories of a great night we had in San Stefanos on the 19th June at the village festival.
10 of us came down from the Romanza in Leos pickup.Ladies in the front,men in the back.We had a great time feasting on lamb on the spit,served in a white paper parcel.Eaten with your fingers and washed down with bottles of retsina.The music was provided by a group from Corfu Town who played nonstop for the 4 hours we were there.They were excellent and played a mixture of music that ranged right across the spectrum from traditional Greek to rock & roll.After a night of non stop eating,drinking and dancing I think we returned to the Romanza by pickup.I say think because after a night on retsina the final chapter is slightly hazy.
