looking for next year!
purpletigger:
Checked Thomsons today - 2 weeks at Little Prince flying from Glasgow 15th June 2012 is now £665.00 each!!! When I priced it beginning of July it was £570.00 OUCH.....Greedy Thomsons >:( - Pricing themselves out of the game I think :(
loftyscot:
Agree, we are restricted to school hols and the flight prices from Scotland are crazily priced. Package prices are stupid too.
Check Thomas Cook flights from Glasgow - they are the best price we've found for next year.
Jimbo:
The prices change almost weekly. Just keep tracking them and jump when you reckon it won't go much lower. Two weeks at LP varied for the same July fortnight between £486 and £623 earlier this year. I did it at £492, which wasn't a bad guess!
purpletigger:
Thanks for information - love going to Little Prince, been going last four years but was seriously thinking of having to go elsewhere in resort - will keep checking. Going back for a week in September so hopefully will have next year booked by then. If not will check out finding accomodation independently (as long as I can get air-conditioning in apartment), would really miss LP but Thomson's being very greedy just now!!!!
YANNIS26:
Here is my thought for the brave hearted.
I base this on my own plans for next year.
Thomson price Romanza from Newcastle on 15th June 2 weeks/2 people 1490 pounds
Romanza direct booking price 490 euros with 11%discount if you pay full amount when booking.Price in pounds 385.
385 +100 for taxi transfer=485 pounds.
This leaves me the grand sum of 1005 pounds to purchase 2off last minute flights.
Airports available to me Leeds,Newcastle,Doncaster. If necessary Manchester and East Midlands are possibilities.
We are talking mid June not peak season. Can it be done.Based on last years last minutes the answer is yes, with 700 pounds left over for spending money.
I may live to regret it but faint heart never won fair lady
You can apply this to any direct booked accommodation.
