Just back yesterday. Our first week and a bit had temperatures near 40, BUT with crippling humidity of 100%, so that even sitting down doing nothing....oh well...maybe hoisting a glass to your face...the sweat just ran! A 5 out of 10 thunderstorm Monday night through Tuesday cleared all the humidity away to what one normally expects in September. First rain for months they said.

Must have seen you somewhere between 10th & 17th. Never known it so hot and humid. We stayed at Kapetanios. Where were you?

Gillywoo:
Got to say I have never known San Stef as hot as it has been this year but as our car hire guy said when its a wet summer in the UK its too hot here.

Thats exactly right, this year all the heat has been trapped in the Med. with the Northern Europe and the UK stuck under miserable cool polar air.

Time for one last trip to San Stef I think!

Andy

swedebasher:
Tsaros as usual Don, and usually the Mistral at night. Spent time yakking to Vassilis at Margeritas too. Didnt move too much that first week though- too damn humid!
