Jules:
Never been more greatful for the swimming pool as we were this year with temperatures being the highest for September for 70 odd years

Jimbo:
Superb weather today. 28 degrees, light southerly breeze, sea warm as lover's embrace. Couldn't make it any better.

Great lunch in Mistral - fried zuchinni, spinakopitakia (little fresh delicate filo-wrapped spinach and cheese pies) and fresh orange salad with red pepper and a sweet sauce.

Got back from great lamb chops at Summer Dreams last night and leaned on the balcony enjoying Jerry James' last set. The Silver Star was packed with a load of pensioners whooping it up - dancing in the aisles, swaying in the street, waving Zimmer Frames around, and generally giving it plenty.

There are so few people here now under the age of 55 that I think we should rename it Sag(a) Stef - or maybe just Sag Stef.

No day on the beach would be complete without some babes. Fortunate then to meet Cerys, strolling up the sand in her black swimbly (as they call them in Wales), her eyes a perfect match with the colour of the sea, tanned to a honey brown, every casting director's dream.

Just another day. Only another 19 to suffer through.

Seems it's your birthday out there - Many Happy Returns Jim!
