I wondered that too. Our friend scooted along it on his bike and he said it was almost ready.

vickyapts:
The road isn't finished.  In the middle a small bridge needs to be built over a dirt track type road, so that the locals have access to their land.  Not sure when this will be completed.  There seems to be a dispute over the cost.  I go running on that road and am amazed at the amount of cars using the road, when there are no entry signs at both ends.  Already some of the loose chippings and rocks have already been displaced.  Only a matter ot time before there is an accident, as most of the cares and bikes that are using the road are driving far too fast over the part of the road yet to be completed.

tonyco1:
Yes I agree, some silly speeds on an unfinished road.
I am afraid I respected the no entry signs, therefore no picture of that section, but saw the dust clouds in the distance when a quad bike flew along it.
Please let us all know when it finally opens and common sense prevails on all sides with a sensible compromise.

Jimbo:
Greek roads are dangerous. King Oedipus met Laios on a road and killed him, only to discover that he had killed his very own father.

Then, later, Clytemnestra stabbed Agamemnon to death in the bathroom.

This is the key to modern Greece. Never finish anything, or tragedy will ensue.
