Might I suggest that a better ladder than bits of old wood nailed together would be a good start ;D, in order to tempt the engineer on the roof!
Still no official sunbeds yet!!

Hi all. We are aware of the issue and are trying to resolve it a.s.a.p. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. If it makes you feel any better, it's been another bright and sunny day in San Stefanos with some scattered clouds.
Kind regards.

Tony - I can't believe you have still not seen Cerys. That's a bit like going to the Louvre and not seeing the Mona Lisa!

The women of San Stef Travel are like the Three Graces of Greek mythology made into stunning reality. These are the goddesses of charm, beauty, nature, human creativity and fertility.

The Greek for grace is Χάρις - Ksarees - but was sometimes used as a single name. Notice the close phonetic relationship between "Ksarees" and "Cerys". Sometimes the Spartans even mention "Charis" as the name of the third Grace. Thus we have evidence that the ancient gods have not vanished, but, embracing European law, now draw their daughters not just from the seed of Zeus but also from the timeless depths of Wales.

This also explains the strange behaviour of the webcam. Until Cerys arrived the webcam pointed its rain-spotted lens at the beach. It is no coincidence that it now frequently resorts to showing Mount Olympus, the home of the gods.

The ancients wooed the gods by pouring libations of wine and sacrificing goats. This is still possible, but not popular with the neighbouring apartments and supermarket. In their infinite wisdom the Graces have come up with a new way of paying homage. This is known as "booking a trip." Do not merely walk past on your way to the beach as you hear the cheerful cry of "Kalimera sas!" Get in there fast and book a visit to Mathraki. Then, truly, the Graces will smile upon you.

Cerys, roughly translated, this means Jimbo likes you.

The Edinburgh webcam shows sun, big black clouds, blue sky and a rainbow. Can San Stef compete with that?

Hi guys, for those of you who like to look at the web cam you may have noticed that it hasn't been working for a little while. I just want to reassure you all that we are aware of the issue and hope to have the cam up and running a.s.a.p. but the location of the cam makes it very difficult to carry out maintenance etc. We thank you for your patience and apologise for any inconvenience caused. For those of you with a vivid imagination, I can set the current scene, the sky is a mixture of explosive oranges, reds and pinks, subtly changing to purple as the sun sets over Diaplo Island.
Kind regards.
Cerys.

Cerys, you will be our first stop next time - after Jimbo's write up!! (We have seen your picture though - lovely!!).

Just to describe Jimbo for you, he is a mixture of explosive oranges, reds and pinks, subtly changing to a deep brown as he tans, (microwaves in the sun),
occasionally purple as the need to puff a ciggy looms, but all of this is off-set in a frame of grey around the face, which often seems to match the Ouzo and water in his glass, when not celebrating with a Mythos or indeed a good locally facilitated glass of the finest wine!

Well done Jimbo, you will truly have goats sacrificed in your name as you take your place in the halls of Mount Olympus, installed as the Royal Scribe!
Yammas!
