Beware the Doughnut and fruit seller on the Beach!!

Newbies beware as returnees should know!!

He caught two teenagers out today - 2 doughnuts and a slice of melon = €10   - - - disgusting rip-off!!

Does anyone actually buy from him twice? We certainly won't 14euros for some watermelon last year. Never again.

Sorry but there is no way I would hand over that kind of money for some slices of fruit.

To be fair - he can be quite intimidating to some people - especially to those not used to the currency - it seems like monopoly money.

I have been told by some different beach-bed purveyors that he can turn nasty - they have seen it!

Luckily I am big enough to not get bothered by him too much - but in spite of me telling him "NO - - too expensive", he never gives up asking.
he especially targets pale-skinned newbies and females, I noticed.
Last week we took cut up melon to the beach - I got it out to munch as he approached - he still asked!! LOL
