Top Tips for San Stef Newbies

(1/6) > >>

Sellsy:
As the season gets underway I thought it may be fun to have a few 'Top tips' or recommendations for first timers to consider?

Some tips will no doubt be informative and serious but I hope regulars may have many light hearted and quirky snippits of advice based on their years of experience.

Perhaps we may also have a ' whatever you do... don't....... advice also?

I will set the ball rolling with a post or two, hope we can all join in.

Top Tip 1

Talk to the local people - they are friendly and you will make friends for life!

Sellsy:
Top tip for newbies, ......early doors have an hour or two sitting out at the Tasty Corner, ice cold drink,  watching people come and go along the main thoroughfare, its probably the busiest part of San Stef, and a great barometer of the town and its patrons, good spot pre dinner but more entertaining late on when people have had a drink or two!

Sellsy:
Top tip for newbies........... if you are walking along the beach towards the cliffs, and the thought of the nudie zone is too much and you need a drink to cool down, turn right up the steep zig zag clay path, it looks daunting, but its not as bad as it appears, at the top sits the Romanza, fab bar and a view of the coast that cant be beaten. From there you can meander down to the town by road with many tavernas on the way!

Jules:
Don't forget mossie repelent (sprays, plug ins etc)- it's a must if you don't want to end up being bitten every night.
