Market forces 2 for 1!
Sellsy:
Via a Thomson's ad link here on sanstef.co.UK we noticed SS deals are becoming quite attractive again. Curiosity got the better of us and we compared our long standing booking at the Romanza. Shock horror, a two week holiday for our travel time is now £50 cheaper than the one week price we paid weeks ago! We have now booked the additional week for a cost of £50 ( we had to pay an amendment fee of £50 PP) >:( It feels good to double our holiday period for £50 but we wonder if people are comparing their original bookings or waiting and watching the holiday markets for late ( post election?) deals?

Unfortunately Thomsons are known for this - but you have to take a chance and book early for a discount, we would normally wait for a sale day, then book.
sometimes - but less so these days for San Stefanos, a late booking is cheaper - (not often in SS as they know it's a captive audience going there).
It's all a bit of a gamble and Thomsons know how to work the market!
I agree though - to find it cheaper months later is really annoying!
Georgie2002:
I'm thinking of doing this too! It's not much more to add on the extra week at Barras and the thought of TWO WHOLE WEEKS in Greece is just too good to be true!!
And I wouldn't have thought of looking into it without this post so thank you very much! I think I would have a permanent massive smile on my face for the next 11 weeks counting down if I were going for two weeks instead of one! ;D
katmc1:
You can actually deal with the hotels and apartments yourself and save even more money.....
tonyco1:
We always have 2 weeks, the cost of the flight is always the most expensive bit per head, so for a little bit more.
