Hello Tony and Linda and thanks for welcoming me to the forum as well. I would certainly like to meet you guys during my stay in SS. I usually play billiards with my sons at the Barras before dinner, but I´d love to meet people visiting SS regularly The Finns travelling to Corfu usually stay at Corfu town, Gouvia or Acharavi. So most of them haven't discovered the best resort yet...

Just to be curious; what is the average flight time from London (or the other parts of the UK) to Corfu? It must be about the same than from Finland. The flight from Helsinki to Kerkira is usually around 3 hours and 10 minutes. Although the return flight last summer was only 2h 50 min due to good tailwinds and a thunder storm.. the worst flight ever. Which tour operator do you prefer, which one has the most competitive prices? I take it that you have a plenty of to choose from in the UK.. We have only Thomsons for SS package tours.

San Stefanos is a "Thomson Town" not a lot of choice unless you go privately!!

Outza73, we have quite a selection of UK airports and many different flight operators.
Thomson, Monarch, Thomas Cook, Easyjet, Ryanair, etc... etc...

The Flight time is around 3 hours from London's Gatwick, Luton or Stansted

Sheduled time from Manchester is approx 3 hrs 15 minutes but have done many a time in less than 3 hrs
