Arillas Wine Festival

We are looking forward to going to the Wine Festival in Arillas held on the 7th and 8th September.  Does anyone know if there will be taxis available in Arillas during that weekend to get us back to San Stefanos?  We are Ok walking there but not sure about walking back in the dark after a jug or two of wine!

It will probably be at the brewery - village festival was last year. That's on the top of the hill between Ag Stef and Arillas. There will be hundreds of people there, and it's downhill all the way home - ten minutes max.

As Jimbo says, it's probably on the other side of the road to the brewery, so just get a quad bike and don't drink any alcohol and you can get back in less than 5 minutes.

Spoilsport! It's huge fun. Hint: 3Ws bar is a great pee stop on the way back down!

Here is a link to the Wine Festival.  According to information on the Arillas forum the Festival is held in the village.  It sounds like a great occasion.

    It has been known for  organised transport from San Stef. -Arillas and back but to walk back is o.k..Any taxi would be expen. for such a short journey. Lots of people will be walking back.

Is it Ok to walk along the cliff path at night or would it be safer to walk along the road? I don't want to topple over the edge after a few drinks!

We have done it in the past in the dark, but carry a torch.

I also saw on post on FB that there is another festival in Arillas 3rd & 4th August if anyone is here during this time its called Antamona Festival in Arillas. I don't have any other details at moment if anyone else does?
