Welcome to San Stefanos (NW Corfu) > Where to stay
Travelling and staying on own
Georgie2002:
Hiya,
I know it's not quite the same but I'm travelling with just my 9 year old daughter, so not quite alone but the only responsible adult! I've stayed in Sidari twice, just the two of us and felt perfectly safe and I'm sure San Stef is a whole lot safer than somewhere like Sidari. Staying in San Stef for the first time this year though so will let you know how I get on. I know it can be quite nerve wracking the first time you travel alone, my daughter was only 6 the first time I travelled alone with her, but you'll find it much easier than you think it's going to be I'm sure.
Georgie :)
Jimbo:
Nafsika seems to be quite popular with single women. It's a very friendly and sociable environment, because you chat to people at breakfast and supper - plus things like the pub quiz night. Also in the old town and very close to the beach...
Jules:
AS everyone has already said SS is a lovely safe resort for single travellers and also for young children as well. If on your own there are lots of people around who you may be able to strike a friendship with as well. Everyone makes you very welcome in and around the village

Hello
First of all I want to thank you all for your kind advice I knew I would get some good advice having been on the forum for a while,
What I think I will do is have a look at the Anatoli Apts and the Theodora Apts I had looked at Thomson but nothing is coming back on-line for a single passenger, Plus I have to look at flights from Newcastle, but can not see much of a problem there the transfer was the only thing I was unsure of but if I can get something organised that would set my mind at ease.
I now know who to get in touch with, so hopefully I will be back in lovely SS in September.
Thank you again it nice to know there is places were you can go and feel safe and people will not think you strange for been on your own.

Caz:
Chrissie, another good thing about Anatoli Aps is that they are pretty flexible on changeover days, they are not set in stone
