 Very good programme about Corfu and San Stefanos , looking forward to the next episodes .  The only downside I can see is that lots more people will be aware of San Stefanos and will want to holiday there . San Stef is our secret and we don't want to share it with hordes of newcomers ,do we ? Or am I being selfish?

The rest of the programmes won't be focused as much on San Stef as this one.

Although the program made San Stefanos look very appealing, I don't think it will turn into a Sidari or Kavos type resort overnight from this 1 program.

I know where you are coming from wanting SS to stay the same, but I'm sure any local business/apartment/hotel owner will welcome a few % increase in business when compared to the 2012 season, without it one or two of these same businesses may not be around for the 2013 season.

 HI  D@G you are right of course about SS needing a few more visitors , we have been visiting for about 12 years and in that time it has changed dramatically.   I think the main factor regarding visitor numbers is the airport ,  as it has only one runway  flights will always be restricted

One thing this programme proved beyond argument, in my opinion, is the sooner Greece exits the Euro the better. All government workers there have had their salaries reduced by 50% just like the poor priest in Thursday's programme. Can you imagine the outcry if that happended over here? All police, firemen, armed forces, local government, civil servants etc etc all with 50% pay cut through no fault of their own. I would be destitute.

Until they make that choice we need to support the Greeks as much as we can.

   Watched it Thanks to "bike" Spiro. It was promo not life at all in S/S . but i suppose it was interesting for some. Where were the local people ?
    Life here is not about getting food from"England" . Kensington -- Bah !
    Hope the next prog. is about Corfiots or i won't be watching it again

Loved it from a San Stefanos point of view with Noula and the girls. I thought it did show a bit of how the Corfiots (albeit an ex pat) have to think about how they have to spend there money more wisely and even having to revert to buying online from Tesco to get the best deal. Looking forward to part 2.

The wedding party stayed at the Tsaros and it didnt even get a mention. I have some sympathy with what Lizzie posted. Where was the taverna '20 miles away'??
