Just had a look at the Easyjet flights - very expensive compared to previous years from Manchester.  It would of cost us for the two weeks we want Aug/Sept Just over £450 for two of us just for the flights

We have booked a few times independently and saved quite a considerable amount.  This year we booked with Thomsons and have also done again for next year as the price was a lot cheaper than doing it independently.  It is a shame really as we would like to give our custom directly to the owners of the hotels.

Also noted that you can now pre book your seat with Easyjet for £3

Some of the prices have shot up since they were first available Thursday AM.I was lucky enough to get in early and get 2 return flights for late June/July for 344 pounds.
I know Easyjet  flights and independent booking does not suit everyone.People have concerns regarding security of holiday and access to cheap flight airports.
All I can say is it suits me.A comparison of my independent booking and a Thomson package at todays prices is as follows.
I have used the same criteria for both costings.
Both flights from Manchester using Thomsons cheapest package for the day.
20kg luggage x 2
Reserved seating.
Taxi transfer
Thomson package              1186 pounds
Independent with Easyjet    844  pounds
That gives me   344 pound start on my spending money.
I know you can get the basic Thomson package at a cheaper rate by no reserved seats and bus transfer but it will still cost you 1040 pounds.
Everyone is entitled to make their own type of booking but I am more than happy with mine.
I am sure you all know my hotel but for any new members its the Romanza

Easyjet prices from Gatwick are cheaper next year than they were this year for us, £320 for the two of us and good daytime flights as well.

Today the same flights are £88 dearer!!

We booked ours for £880 for 2 weeks for two people with Thomsons end Aug beginning Sept 2013 from Manchester - good flight times but with 15kg of baggage each and the coach transfer staying at Tsaros. We travel light so 15kg each is okay for us and this year we enjoyed the coach transfer as you get to see all the places you could of stayed at on the way - that is when you realise you made the right choice going to SS

If we could of booked it cheaper independently we definitely would of done but unfortunately it would of cost us a lot more.

Everyone has a budget, and has to do the best deal for San Stefanos holidays.
We went independently last year - Thomsons the year before - - just whatever works at the time of booking!
I prefer independent - but we still spend in the village anyway!

I want to be the first to book couple of late September flights because as in the summer the price will go up quickly.
