Welcome to San Stefanos (NW Corfu) > Where to stay
Anatoli
holloga:
First time writing on the Forum. Been to San Stef 3 times with Thomsons, but this year doing a DIY holiday. Staying at Anatoli 19th July for 2 weeks. Love San Stef but having never done the DIY thing before, just a little nervous. It was so easy to book with Katie, so hopefully everything else will be easy too. Can't wait. San Stef is defo one of these places you fall in love with, but don't quite realise how much until you leave. Looks like there are a few forum members going to be there at the same time! Any feedback on Anatoli would be great! :)
Sellsy:
Hi Holloga, welcome to the forum!
I've never stayed at Anatoli but I am sure you will have feedback from the forum soon. I assume you have your flights and transfers sorted OK?
I know what you mean re San Stef cant quite put my finger on why it has so much appeal, but it keeps dragging people back! May I ask where you stayed on previous trips, and if you have been in recent times?
Jules:
Welcome to the forums Holloga. Never stayed at Anatoli but as you will find out we are all a friendly bunch on here who like to share anything San Stef. Any input about your experiences of SS would also be greatfully received by both seasoned visitors and newbies alike.

Thanks for the welcome Sellsy and Jules.
Yes flights and transfers sorted thanks - Anatoli are organising a taxi.
First time in San Stef we stayed at Teresa. Really nice just a bit too busy for us. Last twice stayed at Rose Garden. Really nice there, lovely pool area and bar. Kiki the owner is so friendly and her food is fab. Unfortunately didn't stay in San Stef last year but were there the 3 previous years on the trot. Thought we'd give Arillas a try last year (could only get for a week) but although it was fine it wasn't San Stef and unfortunately didn't have the same feel. So really looking forward to coming back this year. Looking forward to staying in the old part of the village too. A fair number of our favourite eating places are that end of the village so won't have such a walk to get there..... not that the walk was any hardship(Waves, Mistral, Olympic, and Yannis Grill but looking forward to trying others). Just love San Stef, fab beach, friendly people (locals and holiday makers alike) and it always feels safe.
Can I ask where you have stayed? It's always good to know of other accommodation in the village. Would have like to have gone back to Rose Garden, but it is only Thomson's who do that and it was fully booked for our dates. Plus we wanted to try a DIY holiday. Kind of like to give the locals the business instead of the big guys.
Jimbo:
We're staying at Anatoli from July 15th, so we'll see you there! Very handy for great nosh at Nafsika - and the pool there is lovely.
