Traditional Folk Festival

This Saturday the 3rd of August, Arillas is hosting a traditional folk festival with professional dancers from all over Greece displaying their national costumes and dances. San Stefano Travel have arranged a walk to the festival where guests will enjoy many performances throughout the evening. A return minibus transfer is included and tickets are on sale now at the San Stefano Travel office.

Walk departs: 20:00
Minibus returns: 23:30
Ticket price: 7 euros per person.

That sounds a fantastic evening - so sad I am not out there for another 5 weeks!

Any reason you don't promote the festival in avliotis in july.we go every year,lamb amazing.locals so friendly.music this year was the best ever,an amazing violinist.

There is also a festival in the village square of Avliotes this forthcoming week Wednesday & Thursday 14th & 15th August.  I saw posters when I was driving into work today. starts around 9pm

That is also a good festival to visit.has been a few years since I last went.the family of romanza kostas and helen,her father lived in the house almost above the chemist.we had a great meal with the family and friends.and a fantastic view of the festival.sadley old mr kostas died last year,a true friend.

We went...and had  a very nice evening out sitting amongst the olive trees, eating souvlaki and drinking retsina with the locals.  Thanks for organising.
