Far further out than that. It's hard to prove a negative, but seriously, there are NO jellyfish. Lie about on your Lilo or ring, swim out as you may, there are no sharks, raptors, huge crabs, giant squid, sea snakes, crocodiles, mutant turtles, alien flesh-eaters, undead, ghouls, vampiric monsters, flesh-eating eels, strange aquatic plants whose very touch will suck the flesh from your bones, incarnations of of call-centre desperation.

It's a bit boring, really. Warm, salty water. That's it. They don't say that on the brochures. It's utterly devoid of threat. Jump in.
