Currency Exchange?

(1/2) > >>

Les Shark Boy:
Hi, we're planning on taking most of our Euro's with us and taking our cards as back up.
I know there's a couple of ATMs in SS but wondered if anywhere else does currency exchange?

Cheers!

Richard/Jackie/Nathan:
Plenty of places to change either Travellers cheques or sterling.

Cerys:
San Stefano Travel can exchange sterling cash and both sterling and euro travellers cheques. If you need to get money from a card then you have to use an ATM, there are 2 in San Stefanos. One is located next to the San Stefano Travel office outside the Crystal Daisy gift shop and the other is in the foyer of the Thomas Bay Hotel.

Jules:
Safety deposit boxes are available at Teresa for you as well for a weekly / fortnightly cost for peace of mind

Karen:
We exchanged our euro travellers cheques with the lovely Cerys, she was always very helpful.  We asked around at the other exchange places and the majority did not really want to exchange them, or if they did, they wanted to apply excessive commission charges.  One place quoted 2 euros per cheque plus 2% on top! ??? If you stay at Stamatis, he now has safe deposit boxes at 5 euros per week.
