The view from Ilias was a lot better before they built the large building in the square but it is definitely worth a visit  . My husband and I used to walk there then after a few years we hired a car to get about but since he has sadly died and I am getting older ( driving out there does not appeal to me ) it is now the bus - well worth the trip!

Day Off today for me, the sun was shining, the skies blue so to make my day perfect it was a lunch at Ilias Under the Vines (which are now coming through very nicely). Some friends staying in San Stefanos drove up to join me.  As always the food and the setting wonderful.   Oh I love summer and to have Ilias as our local tavern is just fab. 8)

Lesley, you paint a marvellous picture, I'm green with envy at the moment, and really looking forward to spending more time there this summer.

The food is great, the location is great, and the brothers are great hosts. Can't wait.
