Perros does curry nights and apparently they are to die for!

When we were in San Stef in 2010 (our last visit) we had a beef curry at Perros (just fancied a change from Greek one night) and it was superb - beautifuuly cooked and tender beef, in a pretty hot curry sauce. Rice and chips - worth a visit.

The ATM outside Paula's shop is now working for summer great news but so far no news on the Thomas Bay one as with the one in Arillas and Avliotes was taken away over the winter when several banks merged.....will keep you updated on this....... and couldn't believe it as went to a Greek bank today (nearest one here is Acharavi) to change up money (as didn't realise the ATM was working in San Stefanos at the time) and their service charge for GBP to Euros was 7 euros!!!!! amazingly expensive.......

Another beautiful sunny day today.  8)

Took a walk past Olive Press today, and no sign of any work...

Nothing happening at Manthos, unless you count my dog trying to chase a cat near there! But I expect they will be up and running for the season.

Pressure washer out today at Elizabeths Jewellers, cleaning their canopies, and scrubbing the pavement!

And cleaning down of furniture happening at Tasty Corner too. Must admit, I'm looking forward to seeing the gyros turning again, here, and at Yiannis......

What sort of action are you expecting?Things haven't changed much for years but that's part of the charm. It's the Original Greek Taverna.
If you have never eaten there please don't be put off by the exterior which can only be described as "shabby chic".Once you pass through that
archway you will be made welcome and perhaps invited into the kitchen to see what's cooking. It's the perfect place to eat on a balmy evening.
You can enjoy your meal while watching the sunset. At lunchtime it's a short walk off the beach and you have a view of the whole bay.

Completely agree! Our in laws who stay regularly in Arillas came over to join us for a day and we sat and spent a lazy lunch with fabulous sardines and octopus.  We did the return leg at Brouklis in Arillas, another excellent meal, well worth a 45 minute walk over the hill!

Woodman, next time you go to Arrilas why not try Armourada, another family run, unpretentious taverna.Lovely people and delicious food cooked by Kiki the mother who also runs the supermarket across the road.

I agree with Dupnica , both Armourada (Arillas) and Manthos' are traditional laid back tavernas  . Nobody makes you feel that you have to vacate the place when you have finished eating both have got a very relaxed atmosphere . If you haven't tried them they are well worth a visit !
