Last night we chose the Nafsica for our evening meal partly, at least on the part of my wife, in the hope of watching Spiro tripping the light elliniko fantastic. The meal did not disappoint in any way, though Lyn struggled manfully through a pastitsio the size of a breeze block. We got into conversation with a couple of resident ramblers at the next table and spent a very pleasant evening awaiting a Spiro  Syrtaki or residents stuff strutting. In the end, neither appeared but we had a good meal and a pleasant time, concluding with Spiro showing us some photographs of the Nafsica as we remember it.

We went for another walk to Logas Beach today. The wind helped keep the air temperature down but it is still a good walk and upon return we were ravenous. We decided to try the Fantasea for lunch. And a spectacular choice it was. Crispy feta with honey, saganaki mushrooms, and mamas patatoes. Just scrummy. No other way to describe it. Lyn wants the crispy feta with honey every day now and they are going to have to beat her off with a stick.

Grounded your reviews have been great.
I do thank you for that most sincerely. It has been a pleasure to join in these forums (fora?) And to share some of our experiences in this lovely place.
This has been something of a sentimental journey for the memsahib and I, being 20 years since we were last here. Sadly we leave on Friday and head for the Norfolk Broads to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary, prior to visiting friends and rellies for the first time in 15 years. Then back to our home in Aotearoa (or New Zealand as she is more widely known). I would love to say, like Arnie "I'll be back", but that is not very likely. We will carry some very happy memories with us.

Filby broad restaurant is worth a mention if dining by the water is your thing. Had the best NZ wine it has been my pleasure to drink there.

We love Norfolk, we were at Felbrigg Hall last week for lunch and a walk around the walled garden. Beautiful!
