Can't believe that Beachcomber hasn't gotten more of a mention - we ate there several times in August and food is amazing - especially the fish curry.

My top 3 would be:

1) Beachcomber
2) Nafsika
3) Fantasea

God, I am literally drooling now at the thought of the fish curry at Beachcomber.....roll on 18th August :)

It's weird the Olympia. Jules must find it weird for some of us to say we've seen it dead for two weeks as we find it weird to hear her say its been packed!!
You can only say what you find personally. The food was decent in there last year but like I say.... only us 3 and a couple of other tables taken until we left about 9.30pm
Also there was a very pretty girl waiting on but that night she was like an ice maiden!!

Romanza well worth the hike.... amazing food and stunning views.

Not tried Manthos or 2Star but we will rectify this year!!

I agree with you Gavin about Olympia . Have never tried Romanza the hill is the killer - maybe one day !
Manthos is a great one for sunset view the food is always fresh unlike some that use frozen food - worth a try !

Gavlah, 2stars was very good for our 3 year old last year (I remember you have a young one too), lots of room for him to run around without disturbing other diners in between courses and a box of toys to play with. Plus a sparkler with dessert always gets the thumbs up from our little one!

For us top three are:

1. Yiannis love the lamb on the spit - simply the best :P
2. Little Prince
3. Ilias

Can't wait to be back in San Stefanos..........8 weeks today!!!  :) :) :)

Cheers Woodman,

Don't know why we've never been in as it does look nice.
Fantasea was lovely last year. Kostas is a great host..... and the views and ambience are great.
Chicken a la creme.... yum yum

Agree about Olympia.  Not busy when we have visted so no atmosphere but the food is good.  Also agree that I don't understand the fuss about Nafsica.  To be fair we have only eaten there once but the service was not good and the food mediocre.   Sorry won't entice me back. Love Waves, Yiannis and Olly Oils.   Plan to try Fantasia this year.  Good reports coming from everyone so will give it a try. As for Romanza would like to try but I think the hill is beyond me.    I'm sure we will all enjoy our own favourites this year and perhaps add a few more to our lists.  As Gav says   each to their own.

I won't lie the hill to the Romanza is a challenge. It's not as steep as the one up the back of the Juice bar that leads to the Tsaros but it's a lot longer.

Take your time, give yourself time to stop and take in the views. Also you'd be able to stop at Teresa or Kapetanios halfway up for a light ale!

If you are young or relatively fit it's just warm work.
if you are older or have an old war wound or joint issues it could be a step too far.

It's well worth it. The food is amazing, service warm and friendly and the views are just stunning.
We ate there after a 3 year gap last summer and it had gone up another notch.

It's hardly a secret but a lot of folk don't bother because of the hill....... they don't know what they are missing

Olympia- Stelios n family great hosts, food always decent 3 visits last year A1
Romanza-Superb food , great atmosphere and reasonable prices , even had last round of drinks  on house, hill bit of a climb but nothing crazy, host even offered to take us back to village, cant believe it was 1st time there in 14 years visiting san stef, a definite return this year
Perros-Again 1st time eating one night when it was very windy they couldnt do enough , good prices and a tour of apartments for the wives
Barras- Love George and the family, s  happy cheerful characters always feel at home here
Waves- great for chilling while using the beach
Havana- great for chillin also in the day

To be fair the resort is all good , pretty much get what you want at most times,
