debra:
Can anyone recommend a hotel in Corfu town? Somewhere central would be good.  Thank you

richnsare:
Hi debra,

We've just come back from Corfu after spending 3 days in Corfu Town and then 12 days in San Stef. We opted for www.arcadionhotel.com and I would certainly recommend it. Great location, right next to the Liston and great views of the Liston and the Old Fort from the two windows and balcony.

I must admin it almost cost us as much for the 3 nights here than it did for the 12 days in San Stef, but certainly recommended.

Good luck.

Andy:
Deb and I also stayed at the Arcadion back in May. Lovely bed, best location, balcony views and, to Debbie's delight, a bath.
Last month we tried the Bella Venezia Hotel and found similar qualities, although slightly further away from the fort. But a lovely area outside for a really good breakfast. But as Debbie pointed out....no bath:'(

Both hotels were not cheap, but when you are on holiday....

Lesley:
and in a leafy suburb of Corfu Town is the ADULTS only boutique Hotel Corfu Mare again not cheap in the area of Corfu known as Kefalomandouki.......

Andy7:
The best hotel in Corfu Town has to be the Corfu Palace Hotel situated on Garista Bay just half a mile from town centre.

Every room has a superb sea view and the pool and gardens are lovely, again it isn't cheap in fact it's dearer than the Corfu Mare but it's an experience as well as a place to stay.
