Don't groan everyone, I just have a couple of simple questions that you may help me with.  The wife and I are quite good walkers and we have done most if not all of the walks in and around San Stef.  I think I recall some forum member saying that they did the walk to Sidari.  If so, how long do you think it would take us to get to Sidari from San Stef?

Also can anyone recommend a nice taverna in Sidari that we could lunch at.  After our lunch with wine we hopefully want to get a taxi back to San Stef, is this a problem?

Thanks in advance.

Can't help with how long it will take but you could get the green bus back, direct from Sidari to San Stef. From memory it picks up around 3pm outside the 3 little pigs taverna (or some similar name) Will be a good few euro cheaper than getting a taxi.

Lesley:
Just to add if you did get taxi back the taxi rank is next to the Hotel Mimosa in the centre across from main beach and a little tip maybe avoid Monday's & Fridays as taxi's are often on airport transfers so you may have to wait - any other day mostly  okay. The local bus though is fine and as stated pick up just on junction by 3 Little Pigs close to Jenni's Cafe.

Rod:
D@G, Lesley, thanks very much.  That's a good idea getting the bus.  I went on google earth and it told me that it would take 1 hour and 45 minutes to walk.  The wife and I can manage that no problem.

Anyone know of any good tavernas for lunch in Sidari?

benson:
Sorry not much use but - Wasn't 3 Little Pigs once owned by The guys who now own Little Prince? May still be in the family, may be OK?
