Welcome to San Stefanos (NW Corfu) > Out and About
Sidari
Jimbo:
There's a nice little place beside the beach at the junction where the bus stops in the centre of Sidari. Can't remember the name. That's about the only good thing I have to say about Sidari!
It may be better to take the bus to Sidari and walk back via Peroulades. It's probably a more shallow climb than SS to the top.

Yes I believe it is. We called in for drinks whilst waiting for the bus, nice little place. Would happily have eaten there if there was time.
We had a late breakfast in Sidari in a place that backed onto the beach, was accessible from the main street too. Very cheap full English at around €3.50 and was as good as any in San Stef. Plenty of Greek dishes on the menu too.
Rod:
Thanks benson, thanks Jimbo. Jimbo, I know what you are saying about Sidari. In fact the wife doesn't want to venture there at all. The most we have seen of Sidari has been when we whizzed by on our quad. However it's mainly the walk that I'm interested in. We would probably set off 10:30 am so that the timing for lunch would be good. I do like the odd glass of wine with my food so I can't imagine I would be too enthusiastic about walking back. Get my drift? Hic!
Jimbo:
Never done the Peroulades to Sidari bit. But we have done the Avliotes to Perouldes a few times.
Might do the other this year - but probably the other way round. Ag Stef to Avliotes is a bit of a climb!
Lesley:
Or how about getting bus from Agios Stefanos to the junction before Sidari getting off here turn left and head towards Peroulades and Logos Beach, drinks at 7th Heaven then head back same way stopping before the small roundabout in Peroulades at Yiannis Grill local wine and a good menu (Yiannis Grill have a FaceBook page) so you can have a look there. Then depending on timing you could get the bus which calls into Peroulades and heads upto Avliotes get off there and then walk downhill to Agios Stefanos..... Not all the buses go the whole way to Agios Stefanos some stopping at the Olive Press just outside resort......
