It's up the hill near Romanza.

Great thank you!  Do you know of any review at all and is it possible to get a taxi back up the hill in the evenings?

You'll find plenty of information on line if you just go into "Villa Argiris Corfu".There isn't a local taxi service in Agios Stefanos the nearest one is in Arrilas or Sidari.

As previously stated, Villa Argiris is right next door to the Romanza. There is a gate off the road leading into the grounds meaning the walk is a little shorter than following the road round to the main entrance? Nice pool area, no pool bar, very quiet, and have only heard positives from people who have stayed there. Added bonus of the fantastic food at Romanza on your doorstep. But no taxis Im afraid.

I've always found it surprising that no-one has set up a taxi service in SS - surely there'd be a huge demand for it during the tourist season? Maybe there used to be one - can anyone enlighten me?

When we first visited in the 90's there were taxis. The demand is obviously not high enough to maintain this service?

We've been going since the eighties and I can't remember there ever being a taxi firm in Agios Stefanos.Could be wrong though.

There were Mercedes taxis in the village, and one often parked outside Kapetanios during the day.

We did see a taxi cruising by this year during the day, but a night time service or maybe minibus going up the hill at a specific time might be useful.
