first independent holiday
« on: August 10, 2015, 12:00:38 AM »
This will be our third time in san stefanos but it will be our first independent holiday. We have booked to stay at the Olga, after staying at the Barras the last two years, with Thomson. Is there any advice, on anything, anyone could give.

I've been thinking about doing this as it's a bit of a pain having to shop on your first day especially if you're feeling tired after an early morning flight.Who do you order from Rilo and how do you pay?

That's a great idea. I know you can have your shopping delivered but not before you arrived.

Your delivery is sorted through corfuselections.com run by Lesley..if you go to the web page and select san stef  you then see accomodation available.scroll down till you see san stef supermarket .then follow instructions..its very easy ..your provisions will be in your appartment when you arrive.the receipt stuck to one of the bags.you just pop in the next day and pay..even if your not on a late flight it saves all that carrying..

That's one of the good things about staying at the Barras you don't have far to carry your shopping. Thanks for the help and ideas. Can't wait, a week next Monday and we'll be there.

We always stay at the Olga, and have gone "independent" ever since our first package.  This year I discovered Resorthoppa for airport transfers - just google it.  On arrival at the airport, I headed for the desk as instructed - and was directed to the Thomson bus!  Same ride, lower price.  Have fun.
