Outfoxed the UK airlines.....:)

Silverstar:
Yes - I find it bizarre that I only wants flights yet I can't have 3 weeks - I could understand if accommodation was involved, but do not see the issue with flight only..........still their loss :) :)

I am happy and although I've paid slightly more than last year (£90 overall), considering that I'm coming back on a bank holiday weekend, I don't think that's too shabby..

I'm also in the process of persuading Spiros (Nafsika) to hold an 80's night for my birthday....... ;D

Rover:
Not trying Delfino?

Silverstar:
funnily enough Rover.....no!!!  ;D

So - for three weeks or more it has to be "go independent."

At least Dick Turpin wore a Mask! Well do Silverstar!

We go indy every year so we only need flights anyway.
However this year we are going for 3 weeks instead of 2 and Thomson refused to quote for 3 weeks which I found to be totally ridiculous.
In addition to this, we are flying home the August bank holiday weekend so flights with Easyjet, Thomas Cook etc are all sky high (over £350 one way....)
So I thought outside the box and decided to fly back with a non UK airline to mitigate the BH price increase.    Soooo we are going outbound with Easyjet for £130 and returning with Norwegian Air for £170.
Well happy and have saved almost £600 for the 3 of us......
Love it when a plan comes together.... ;D

Another alternative is using British Airways @ Heathrow - it's 50 mins by car from Gatwick if that suits, and cheaper - check their website.
We're doing 3 weeks in San Stefanos as well - got a fantastic deal of Just under £200 each return, good for us because I can deduct the cost of parking or a taxi to Gatwick,
which equates to at least £65 each, off the price in real terms had I flown as I usually do from Gatwick. Price includes reserved seats and suitcases which is a standard 23Kg. plus free meal.
