Welcome to San Stefanos (NW Corfu) > Out and About
Away from the Village
benson:
3 weeks for us this year, so we're planning a couple of days away from the village. We've been going to Agios Stefanos for more than 30 years and we have seen lots of the island but I'm embarrassed to say and although the following are in the north of the island and not that far away from the village we've never been there - this year we will.
1) Mount Pantokrator
2) Old Perithia
3) The 3 Durrell Houses
4) The other Agios Stefanos
Any places you've always said you'd go to and this year are determined to actually visit?
Jimbo:
Romanza!

Just looked it up and it looks lovely, a good 90 minute drive?
Jimbo:
That looks lovely. A just read a review that says:
--- Quote ---Gardenos beach is a quiet holiday-makers heaven. It is a hidden Gem that only locals know about – you will see very little english people here. - See more at: http://www.delightso.me/gardenos-a-hidden-gem-in-southern-corfu/#sthash.gLl2d19O.dpuf

Sounds like my sort of place, because I'm only little people!
