It's true you didn't start it Jumbo but you're doing a good job of keeping it going. 43 days had elapsed from the last post to yours on the 12th.

As you rightly say - time is passing, and the uncertainty has not gone away. We're now hearing late 1919 at the earliest for an exit. That sounds suspiciously close to an election. So I don't think the relatively small majority who voted Leave will necessarily get their way in the end. Stupid phrases like "Remoaners" do not quite encompass the magnitude of what this decision means. Where appropriate, it's entirely justified to point out, I think, what the realities are. Currently, it's not looking exactly brilliant.

It's fairly close to the election which resulted in a coalition governmement led by David Lloyd George certainly.

Why bother to read a topic that you wish would go away! Just don't bother with it. I don't follow all topics just those that I'm interested in.  :)

I agree with Gillie! If you don't like a topic then don't read it!!

I may agree/disagree with what is being said, but I do not like it when childish insults are used rather than a logical argument!

We may not like/agree with other people's opinions, however, we should all be open for debating the subject in an adult manner!

Jeeps !!! And again, I think sometimes people just take things to seriously, we'll not know for a while yet what will really happen, until then we have to take the good or bad and get on with it.
Anyway roll on Monday

And many of us who disagree can happily have a drink and a hug in SS, and do.

But, it's a serious issue. It has world-wide implications. It's not normally the British way to run away and hide, but that's what the vote means, it seems to me.

Actual Brexit is retreating over the distant horizon as the government postpones the issue. The jury is still out on whether the Scottish parliament can veto the exit. This was a "non-binding" referendum, and if parliament decides that it's against the best interests of the UK it won't happen. Meanwhile, let's enjoy the rubbish exchange rate!
