October Weather
« on: August 12, 2017, 02:49:47 AM »
Just wondering if anyone could give advice on what weather will be like  in Greece mid October?  Due to circumstances we are looking to book holiday around 12th October this year and thinking maybe Zante.  We normally visit Greece May and September and were in  San Stefanos this year May/June as have been for quite a number of years.   We are thinking the weather will be similar to early May but not sure.  Any advice would be welcome.  :)

It can be anything! Impossible to predict, unfortunately. Wise to be prepared for hot and cool, dry and wet.

Thanks Jimbo we can't go until October as my husband will be undergoing some treatment.  We did think of the Canaries but we just love Greece so much so might risk it - at least if we go prepared for the worse we will be pleasantly surprised if we get some decent weather.  :)

Thanks for the replies - we have booked for Zante in October so fingers crossed.  We haven't been to Zante for quite a few years but are going to Alykes which hopefully should be fairly quiet - especially in October lol.  In any event what will be will be and we will make the most of it come rain or shine (or thunder and lightening)  :)
