Forgot to mention, when I was looking at the beach webcam yesterday, there was a large bird of prey sitting on one of the lamps, difficult to say what it was though.

Sometimes, up at Akrotiri looking down into the valley I've seen some big hawks slope-soaring in the breeze. Wonderful sight.

I wonder if it was some kind of buzzard, we have seen them soaring when we've been on the beach
