geordieborn:
Looking quite rough there today...

Lesley:
It was a very blustery day yesterday Saturday with the wind coming from the snow capped Albanian mountains opposite making the chill factor feel only around 7c.  Night time was cold too - so full heating on all day.....  Today, Sunday however it is a beautiful sunny day with a bright blue & cloudless sky and warmer too at 10.00 hours being 14c with a high of 17c expected later up here in Avliotes.  Wishing everyone a lovely Sunday too......

geordieborn:
Thanks for the update Lesley. In return it will be nice for you to know that we have the exact opposite, in as much as it is several days with wet miserable weather here with chill factors like the other day of -8c! Still today (well for now at least) it is lovely and sunny and only a balmy 2c with a real feel of -6c… I know where I would rather be…

WINKIE:
Just had a peek on the Nafsika cam, lashing down at the moment. Sea looks rough too, wild and windy apparently forecast for the days ahead.

Lesley:
Yes we did have really heavy rainfall over the weekend, very blustery too over in Agios Stefanos and up the hill here in Avliotes.  Flood warnings were issued for the Ionian islands.  The road between Avliotes and Sidari was very waterlogged (I am informed) as I didn't bother to venture out in the horrible weather.  However today, Monday have awoken to a mostly sunny day, still quite windy though and although mild feels cooler due to the wind blowing over us from the suncapped mountains of Albania.  Happy Monday to All x
