Yes, I wouldn't want to be sitting there. Perhaps there is no parking nearby or they're just lazy :)

Where else would they park? If they didn't park on the beach they'd only clutter up the roads and they're narrow enough. I admit it doesn't look very nice but so long as they park neatly and away from people I don't think there is an option. Most of them are probably day trippers from other parts of the island.
