I admit it doesn't look very nice but so long as they park neatly and away from people I don't think there is an option. Most of them are probably day trippers from other parts of the island.

Couldn't agree more. It's not as if they park up in the only place there is to sit is there. It's never been a problem as far as I'm concerned.

Karen:
I don't know about parking, there may be other areas to park, a little walk away. Definitely spoils the look of the beach, imo :)

I just find it a little odd that all the little village (much smaller than AS) beaches up the Northumberland coast I've been to they have proper parking places (albeit not many), mostly away from the beach in the village itself. A lot seem to use the main access near the stream, perhaps as intended. I just think it would be safer and better overall to have a drop off point and perhaps designated limited parking for those that need it. I certainly did not see as many cars racing along the sea front last year as I did many years ago, perhaps they have been stopped from doing so?

Karen:
It's a tricky one, they obviously need people there, assuming they spend money, whilst they are there. I've just never seen so many parked up.

Jimbo:
We've been going to Agios Stefanos for 11 years, and the beach parking has always been where it is now. What's the problem? The beach is vast. The parking area is small. I've never found it problem at all. Where, exactly, could another parking area be made? Apart from the beach, it's hilly, and the valley, apart from the very swampy area, is largely built up.
