Yes my OH is the same.
We had a meal out here Sunday and he said his lamb wasn’t cooked enough.
I eat a lot of fish everyone does whole fish now.
I do miss Alex at Captain Octopus and his lobster.

We tried Mythos last night.

Mhairi had the special of Stifado with garlic bread. Feedback was excellent, although portions were massive.

I had t-bone steak special and baked feta in Greek tomato sauce. The fillet side of the tbone was superb, the sirloin side was a wee bit chewy, but I'd no problems finishing it. The main thing. it was tasty. It came with a mustard sauce on the side.

The baked feta was out of this world. It was terrific.

Speed of service was excellent. We sat down around 8.30 and were eating our starters about 8.45. Our mains came just after 9.

Our food was washed down with the 1 litre house red.

In summary, for a grand bill of €33, we would recommend it.

Yammas.

Sounds great value, loftyscot :)

That sounds superb LS.

Went to Mythos last night and was very disappointed. Starter of saganaki was like a doorstep which wasnt to be able to be finished as the mains arrived.
Our chicken fillet was burnt to a crisp. Chips were cold and like string and to top it all the carafe of wine was awful.
What a shame, this is first bad meal we've had. I think the cook needs some advice.
