Barbara:
Hi

We are coming to San Stefanos in May/June and one family member has celiacs.  Does any restaurant cater for this condition?

Jimbo:
That's a tricky one! I think we'll need some local liaison to get a list of answers.

geordieborn:
Well if you don’t get any feedback I would have a look at TrapAdvisor here and see if you can find out from a couple of the restaurants shown what menus they have. Make a note of them and then try and get in touch with a few of the places in A.S. Nafsika have always been willing to prepare something if you go to see them a day or so prior to eating there. I see one of those on TA is Akrotiri, only problem there is the trip up the hill or more to the point the trip back down!

maggiesaes:
I think if you speak to the people in the restaurants in advance and give them details you will find they are all willing to help.I know Thomas Bay were always keen to cater for any such special needs given notice.
I have Crohn’s disease and often ask for alterations to dishes.

Lesley:
I leave on our Corfu Corner area in reception (at Vicky's) a printed hand out in Greek which guests & visitors can take with them when out & about.  You can also Google this from the Celiacs and Gluton free society on the Internet.  Restaurants are aware of this and will have dishes to suit.
