Hi Karen,

Wearing face masks will not give you 100% guarantee of not catching the virus.  At the height of the pandemic many Doctors, nurses and care workers lost their lives even though they took all precautions that were available.  A colleague of mine was very ill with Covid and was lucky not to have lost her life after spending many weeks in intensive care.
I would recommend the wearing of masks alongside social distance practice and good hygiene standards.

Look around when you go to the high street next and notice the number of people not following good hygiene standards, the touching of inside the masks for example after wearing them. How many times have you touched your nose today ( no offence ment )
You are right Corfu’s infection rate is currently very low.  Watch this space.

Will Spain be Greece soon... Who knows, but it is the worry. A few here have tried to warn it may happen. If you book be sure you know what you are getting into and that you can deal with any eventuality. Hopefully all goes well )(

I totally agree. It's not just Spain - France and Germany are seeing a significant rise. I sincerely hope the Greek measures will remain effective as numbers rise. From my local observations a lot of people simply don't give a stuff. Not encouraging.

James, I adopt all of those standards, it's those that don't who are the problem.
